Africa Safari – Kenya, Victoria Falls & Chobe

Three countries in one journey: Masai Mara game drives and a Lake Naivasha boat ride in Kenya, the mighty Victoria Falls with a Zambezi sunset cruise in Zimbabwe, and elephant-rich Chobe National Park in Botswana.

Day-wise itinerary

1. 01

   Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

   Arrival at JKIA International Airport; meet and greet by our representative and private transfer to your accommodation in Nairobi. Known as the safari capital of Africa, Nairobi is an energetic, modern city — top sights include the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and the black rhinos of Nairobi National Park. Depending on arrival time, you can visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the farmhouse made famous by the Oscar-winning film 'Out of Africa'. Check in and freshen up.

   Meals: none. Overnight in Nairobi.

2. 02

   Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

   Breakfast at the lodge, check out and private transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve — one of Africa's most renowned wildlife conservation areas, extending into Tanzania as the Serengeti and celebrated for the Great Migration, diverse landscapes and rich Maasai cultural heritage. Check in, lunch at the lodge, and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. Dinner at the lodge.

   Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner. Overnight in Masai Mara Game Reserve.

   Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve

   Choose either full-day game drives with packed lunches or morning and afternoon game drives with hot lunch at the lodge. Covering 1,510 square km, the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the more than two million wildebeest, zebras and antelopes of the Great Migration, plus elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah, leopard, endangered black rhino, hippo, enormous crocodiles and over 450 bird species. Dinner at the lodge.

   Meals: breakfast, packed lunch or lunch & dinner. Overnight in Masai Mara Game Reserve.

4. 04

   Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

   Breakfast at the lodge, check out and transfer to Lake Naivasha — a freshwater lake in Kenya's Great Rift Valley, northwest of Nairobi. Arrive at the lodge for lunch; after lunch, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Dinner at the lodge.

   Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner. Overnight in Lake Naivasha.

5. 05

   Day 5: Nairobi – Victoria Falls

   Breakfast at the lodge, check out and private transfer to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls Airport (VFA). Upon arrival, meet and greet by our representative and private transfer to your hotel in Victoria Falls. Check in and freshen up.

   Meals: breakfast. Overnight in Victoria Falls.

6. 06

   Day 6: Tour of the Falls & Zambezi sunset cruise

   Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a guided tour of the mighty Falls, passing one of the biggest baobab trees in the region and taking a 3-kilometre walking tour around the falls with viewpoints including the Devil's Cataract and Danger Point — you will get wet from the spray, so cover phones and cameras (park fee included). In the afternoon, transfer to the jetty for a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River above the falls, with drinks and snacks, and the possibility of seeing hippo, elephants, buffalo and bushbuck (park fee included). Transfer back to your hotel; dinner at the hotel.

7. 07

   Day 7: Victoria Falls at leisure

   Breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the day at leisure.

   Meals: breakfast. Overnight in Victoria Falls.

8. 08

   Day 8: Victoria Falls – Chobe National Park

   Breakfast at the lodge, check out and private transfer to your lodge in Chobe. Check in and freshen up, then proceed for full-day Chobe National Park activities (game drives and boat cruises). The park is well known for its large herds of elephants — up to an estimated 85,000 in the dry season — plus lion, leopard, buffalo, sable, puku, kudu, eland, roan and many others; the river teems with hippos and some of the biggest crocodiles in Africa.

   Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner. Overnight at the lodge in Chobe.

9. 09

   Day 9: Chobe National Park

   Breakfast at the lodge. Proceed for a full day of Chobe National Park activities (game drives and boat cruises), with more chances to meet the elephant herds along the Chobe River and the park's rich antelope and predator life.

   Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner. Overnight at the lodge in Chobe.

10. 10

    Day 10: Chobe – Victoria Falls – Departure

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and take a private transfer to Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) for your return flight back home.

    Meals: breakfast. Tour ends.
